Dear Composters,

First and foremost, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for being part of our compost pick-up service! Thanks to your participation, since we started this service in October 2023, we've already diverted an incredible 13,440 pounds of food waste from landfills. Together, we’re taking meaningful steps toward a more sustainable future. This year, we’ve put on several education programs at north Jersey schools, partnered with Ramapo College to kickstart a compost program, and we’re engaging with several townships in the area about piloting compost programs.

This holiday season, we’d like to invite you to help us spread the composting spirit by sharing some holiday postcards with your neighbors. These postcards include a discount for new sign-ups to our composting program. By encouraging your neighbors to join, you’re not only helping create greener communities but also reducing our vehicle emissions by clustering bucket pick-ups closer together. Small actions like these can make a big difference!

In addition, we’re excited to share that we’re launching a new initiative in the spring to make composting more accessible and impactful. This program will help subsidize composting for families who may not be able to afford it and bring educational programming about composting and sustainability to low-income schools. As a token of our appreciation, don’t forget that we offer a free bag of soil in the spring for our participants.
